Early Aircraft Accident Reports 1929-1931 : Commonwealth of Massachusetts

The Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles was responsible for investigating aircraft accidents in the 1920s and early 1930s.

The RMV had an aviation division that was responsible for airport regulation, pilot licensing as well as accident investigation.

The following Commonwealth of Massachusetts Aircraft Accident Reports are from the files of Skyways, Inc., East Boston Airport.

Aircraft include Gipsy Moths, Kitty Hawks, Stearman Biplanes, a Bull Pup L-A-1, a Monocoupe 71, a Bellanca Monoplane and an experimental amphibian airplane.
